Nectar Collective Branding with Spruce Rd.
You know when you get THAT email and it makes you giggle just a little bit. Yeah. That was this one for me. I was getting a lot of similar requests for branding, and while interesting, it sometimes takes a little bit of collaboration with another designer for your creative spark to truly return. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my other clients, just sometimes a little mixing it up -color wise or something else helps you find strength in your own designs and strengthen your creative mind.
First thing to know about this project is that there are two incredible creative entrepreneurs involved, which sometimes can just lead to too many chefs in the kitchen, but instead boom! Magic.
Our First Leading Lady - JAMIE from Spruce Rd.
If you don't know Jamie from Spruce Rd. -- you should know she literally all around pretty kick-ass. Sorry there's just not other encompassing descriptor. A good collaborator, design friend, entrepreneur, creative lady and more. I knew after our first phone convo we just clicked. My design schedule was pretty hefty this fall, but this fell just at a perfect time. Make sure you check out her site www.sprucerd.com she is not only a great designer but an incredible teacher, so mark your calendars to sign up for her classes/workshops!
OUR SECOND LEADING LADY - MELISSA from TNC
Now if you live in the blog or pinterest world and haven't seen The Nectar Collective blog, I have to say, are you living under a rock? TNC, or The Nectar Collective is her site where she has grown from being a part time blog, to a full time solo-preneur web-designer and blogger, to being a community where she teaches others to go after their dream, just like she accomplished. She has seen huge success in her social media strategies, and uses pinterest like a pro, no seriously - she's that good.
She was growing her brand and wanted to step away from it to redesign as she focused on her newest project The Blog Hive. So with the community aspect of her brand in mind, while keeping the bold, yet sweet and fun parts, and also adding in a few new colors we were able to take her brand to a place she can grow and create a community.
So make sure you go check out a bit more information on these pretty awesome ladies, and watch Melyssa grow her incredible brand with a classy new design to boot :)
